Acutech Polycarbonate Tubing
Engineered Plastic Tubing: Acutech Polycarbonate Tubing Polycarbonate is a transparent material with high impact strength. It retains its rigidity and absorbs almost no moisture, making it ideal for electronic applications. Acutech Polypropylene Pipe
Pipe and Rod: Polypropylene Pipe, Schedule 40 and 80 Pipe made from this resin is strong and has very good chemical resistance. Fittings (not currently available from Acutech) can be attached by a variety of methods, including socket fusion and IR welding. Copolymer resin is used to manufacture pipe up to a 6" size. This gives the material additional impact resistance, making it less brittle. Larger pipe is made from a homopolymer resin for improved I.D. surface. Flame-retardant, UV stable and static dissipative pipe is available on a custom basis.

Silicone Custom Tubing Extrusions
Silicone Custom Tubing Extrusions can be made in any hardness from 20 to 80 durometer Shore A. The tubing can be cut to length, and spliced or bonded into O-rings, rectangular gaskets and inflatable seals. Tubing from .005" to 8" I.D. can be manufactured. Multi-lumen tubing also can be manufactured to customer specifications. Tubing with identification stripes, special printing, hole punching, and reinforcing textile or metal braid can be designed to customer requirements. Heat-shrinkable silicone tubing also is available in custom sizes with more than 100% recovery. These products are produced to a customer's specifications on a custom basis only.
Silicone Dual Extrusions
Silicone dual extrusions are comprised of at least two different silicone materials. Co-extrusions combine silicone with other materials. Silicone dual extrusions can be supplied with different durometers, electrically conductive, different colors, solid or sponge, or sandwich constructions with a soft core. Many metal composites are possible for flexibility and thermal insulation, as well as thermoplastic-silicone composites for heat resistance, durability and environmental resistance. A wide variety of geometrics can be produced, from .005" thick to 8" I.D.

The capabilities of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics' silicone molded products include injection silicone molding, transfer molding and insert molding with metals and plastic materials. Small parts from under 1 gram to large parts of more than 1,000 grams with an overall part size of up to 20" maximum width can be produced. Our in-house design and build capabilities allows the production of prototype molds in 2 to 3 weeks.
